So I got all crazy with it and announced via Instagram on Friday that I have 110 percent committed to running my very first half in May.

I will be running the Flying Pig Half Marathon on Sunday May 4th approximately 6:30 AM.
HOLY FAAAAKKKK.
So then shit got real and serious and all that jazz.
I have been so scared of this.
I actually signed up for two this past year and ended up getting refunds.
Yes, I did.
I was so unsure of myself.
How could I, Marcy K. Burris, run 13.1 freaking miles?
Problem was I had "can't" in my vocabulary.
I am now able to believe that this thing I used to only dream of is now going to become a reality.
And guess what?
I am not taking a Full Marathon out of possibilities either...
Anybody wanna come to Cincy and run this with me in May?
This weekend was the first weekend in way too long that I actually lost weight.
I am sitting pretty at 160 and I just feel like this is the week.
This is MY week to break into the 150's.
I know call me crazy but my heart has never been more into getting fit and healthy than it is right now.
I even fit into a pair of size 10 Dress pants from Express this morning.
I have never been able to fit into Express pants because my hips don't lie.

Oh and adding strawberry's into my already delicious Cake Batter Protein Shake.
AMAZEBALLZ.
Today on the agenda is Week 3 Day 1 of C25k.
Can I just tell y'all how proud I am of myself for sticking to this?!
This is my 5th go at it and I know I will finish this time!

I would love to come to Cincy to run with you!! Maybe next year...when I weigh a lot less and have ran way more. This is my year I start running (small runs)
