Advocare 10 Day Cleanse Results

I wanted to do this cleanse for one main reason.
To get out of the 160's and FINALLY into the 150's.
I was so sick of seeing that middle number of 6.
If and when you get stuck at a friggn' place for six months plus you understand what I mean.
So I started the cleanse at 163.8...
For some strange reason I did not document that weight so you will just have to take my word for it.
I wanted to prove to myself that I could do this cleanse and stick to it.
That I could finish it.
Something you may not know is that I have tried to do this twice before.
Quite frankly I was tired of wasting my money and when I previously had done these my heart just wasn't in the game so to speak.
The drinks aren't pleasant but a tip from yours truly is that if you mix your packet with Vitamin Water Zero-Orange in a blender/bullet it's so much easier to get down.
Literally I had no problems with it at all.
The worst part was the brain freeze at the end!
Even when I was sick I took the drink.
It probably didn't help that I did but I wanted to say that I completed the 10 days.
All of them.
Sick or not.
And guess what?
I did!
I finished!
I did drink some alcoholic beverages over the weekend but I made sure to stick to my diet...
Until last night after having not being able to eat since Sunday I turned into a bit of a porker.
Which I guess is to be expected?
Give me all the foods in and around my pie hole.
Anyways, the results are officially in.

DUN! DUN! DUN!

{fogrive my awkward faces Husband doesn't ever tell me when he's taking the picture!}
Side
End Weight
{please forgive me nasty half painted green toe nails from Christmas!}

So I lost almost 5, okay 4.6 if you are being anal, pounds and obviously some inches.
I should have taken measurements but I figured the pictures would do the talking.
I feel less bloated and even after the hell virus I have more energy today.
I will probably be doing this again in May right before my next doctors appointment.

So everybody keeps asking me Marcy, what's your next goal?!
Now that I have gotten to the 150's...

Well my next goal is to start my Half Marathon training and sticking to it 100% and completing my first half in May.
HUGE GOAL obviously...
Also, I signed up with Weight Watchers last week.
My next goal weight is 152 (provided by them and my plan) so I am sticking with that and I don't think I will have any problem getting there.
This is probably one of the easiest plans I have been able to follow.
I can still eat what I want and never feel like I am depriving myself.
Obviously I am not eating Little Debbie's for my meals.
I am still eating healthy and as clean as possible but if I want a Reese Cup I am going to have a damn Reese Cup.
Got me?
=)

Did I mention that I am in the mutha faking 150's?
Oh I did?
I'm sorry I'm not sorry...

  1. Yay for the 150s!!! That's awesome. I'm always so skeptical when it comes to cleanses like that but I've seen people have good results with it so maybe I should give it a whirl.

  2. Oh my goodness, that's such a HUGE difference, you look fantastic, I'm so proud you've reached your long-fought for goal (is that weird to feel proud of someone I've never met, and only stalk on the internet?).
