502.

502
That is the amount of days it has been since having my last baby.
105
That's how many pounds I am still hovering around that I have lost.
7
The size pants I fit into this morning.
PRICELESS
The way I am feeling right now.

Y'all I have NEVER been in a size 7.
I am pretty sure I just skipped right over that and I was wearing a size 11/12 as a 7th grader.
My weight fluctuated A LOT during my high school days and there were points that I was very small.
NEVER HEALTHY.
My body is so different today than it has ever been.
It is very odd to me to think that when my Husband and I met almost five years ago I was a size 16 and I weighed 190 pounds.
My weight has fluctuated a shit done during this time but I am a smaller build now than I have ever been.
I have worked dam hard for it, too.
It's not easy.
It never has been and it NEVER will be.
I will ALWAYS have to fight for my health and the body I am seeking.
But guess what?
I am totally okay with that.
The reward of the way I am feeling makes it all worth it!
Now if I can just resist the following through the holidays I will be A-okay:
Kroger Christmas Butter Cookies
My Momma's homemade buckeye's and pecan tassies.
Krispy Kreme Red Velvet Cup Cakes.
Any bad holiday food in general.

I am on a mission to lose five pounds between now and the first of the year.
It would be the second year in a row that I have lost weight during the holidays and I would officially be in the 150's.
FINALLY.
I know I can do it.

What about y'all?
Have any goals for yourself through the holiday season?

  1. Such an inspiration :) I think I skipped over all the single digits and went to 11/12 then 13/14. I have a goal of being in an 8 soon, please keep the cookies away from me and the white chocolate covered oreos!

  9. I think I'm a bit shorter than you. I'm in the 150s now and SO want to drop below that into the 140s. I've already caved once to Christmas goodies that a neighbor dropped off. I'm sure more temptation is on the way. I'm feeling a baking mood myself ... trying to out cardio my calories :)
