Day 1 of clean eating is in the books.
I want all things white.
And sugary...
Oh gimme all the suga' honey!
And beer.
Duh.
This is my diary from yesterday directly from MyFitnessPal.
All you clean eaters out there was this bad? Good?
I am really having a hard time justifying what is clean and what is not clean.
I obviously know that Toaster Strudel my kid was chomping on this morning and that delicious personal pan pizza my Hubby was eating last night are NOT okay.
But my lines are blurred.
Some people say you can have this and that but what defines clean?
Is there even an actual definition?
When I think of clean I think fruit, veggies, and lean proteins.
Is that wrong?
Some people were saying I could have fat free cool whip.
To me I feel like I can't because it comes pre-packaged.
I don't even know how this started per say but I really wanted to see if I could eat clean for at least five days straight.
Meaning no bread, pasta, potatoes (unless sweet), and last but not least no beer.
BIG THINGS HERE PEOPLE.
So far so good.
Now I will say I am still having my morning coffee with a 1/4 cup of unsweetened Almond Milk and my Splenda.
I know shoot me now.
Artificial sweetener womp womp womp.
Today on the workout agenda is my 10 pounds gone fast workout.
3 rounds 10x each
And whatever time I have left at the end (if any) I will run on the dreadmill.
Unfortunately I am still up to my eye balls in work from not being here last week with bleach fumes on my hands from cleaning the tub last night after Payton decided to drop a deuce on me in there.
Go on!
Go ahead!
Be jealous of my life!
PS my Husband is totally getting throat punched tonight when I see him.
He sends me a picture of my favorite beer when he knows I am trying to eat clean this week.
Ass...
Oh and just one more thing since I haven't done one of these in a while...
One year apart. It's always fun for me to reflect back and see how much has changed in a year. Roughly a 15 pound difference but more than anything my insides have changed. I'm
happier and I think that's evident in my smile.
You're doing great! You look great! Visiting from the Lets Be Friends blog hop!
ReplyDeleteLove it! and check pinterest for some clean eating charts
ReplyDeleteI think this is awesome! You should be super proud! Less packaged food, more healthy REAL foods! Keep it up!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Light Cool Whip is NOT clean. It's a franken food. Now if you made your own whipped topping, in my eyes, that would be clean. Like you, Ive been back on the clean eating train this year. I joined a few dietbets and started a blog (just yesterday actually) Good luck girl! We can do this! :)

I agree with you that clean eating is anything not packaged but I also kind of believe everything in moderation is ok. If you need your splenda in your coffee then have it!
ReplyDeleteMmmmmm
ReplyDeleteI want that beer like yesterday!!
Clean eating kind of gives me a headache. It should be simple, but there is a lot of planning and thought involved!
Give me my smart ones and call it a day!!
So impressed with you right now. That chart is awesome! That was pretty mean of your hubby to send you that picture, but it is SO something my boyfriend would do to me!
